![]() I guess I just need more downtime and security in my profession □♀️ I’ve also tried nonprofit work (which was more in line with my values) but it’s so disorganized and unstable and low paying that it left me feeling just as stressed and scattered. So I’ve tried the corporate career and earned good money but it has completely burned me out. I’m either tired more often than my peers or I get more overwhelmed by stimuli which puts my body in distress. My sleep and general life energy is scarce. But with time I’ve realized that will likely never work for a 12-houser. I’m 32 and come from a Soviet upbringing that teaches you to do things against your will just so you could earn money - basically survival methodology. I have my Sun and Jupiter in 12th in cancer and have always struggled with finding a career path that works for me. ![]()

The zodiac can offer insights into our personalities, our relationships, and our destiny. Zodiac signs are one way to gain this understanding. The fundamental principle behind astrology is that the position of the planets and stars at the time of our birth can influence our lives. Therefore, people born on the 'cusp', that is, birth date falling on the border between two astrological signs should seek expert advice to determine what zodiac sign they belong to or simply use the zodiac sign calculator below. The exact date of zodiac signs may change by a day or two from year to year. Given below is a chart showing the month and dates corresponding to each Zodiac sign. A star-lit tale, unfolding one step at a time. And the Moon sign is the emotions that drive you as you make your way through the path, the instinctive reactions that will shape your fate. But the Rising sign is the path you have chosen to reach that destiny, the decisions, twists, and turns of your life's journey. Your Sun sign is your destiny, your fate written in the stars. The three zodiac signs, the Sun Sign, the Rising Sign, and the Moon Sign, are the leading players in this cosmic story, each holding its unique role in the journey to our ultimate destiny. They can be seen as a roadmap, guiding our life's journey and providing insight into our destiny. The stars have been intimately connected with our lives since time immemorial. The Vertex may also put an individual in tense or uncomfortable situations, which allows them to learn to tackle such situations in the future, contributing to personal growth. When the Vertex is activated, it can bring sudden shifts in our lives that may take us by surprise. It reveals how or why one is attracted to and forms meaningful connections with certain people without consciously trying to do so, and also what attracts others to them. The Vertex has to do with powerful attraction, desire, obsession, falling in love, family bonds, partnerships, friendships, karmic connections, and other significant interpersonal relationships. One cannot alter or change the results signified by the Vertex as they are determined by one’s past and are, hence, karmically connected to them. The Vertex represents the fated or destined “role” one plays as determined by various social and collective situations and, therefore, has to do with what others expect of them. The Vertex is usually located in the western hemisphere of the chart and relates to one’s external world, where their contacts and relationships with others become the central focus. The Vertex is a point in astrology that is associated with fate, destiny, and preordained events that cannot be changed through personal choice or free will. ![]() ![]() While the sun sign relates to our essential being, and the moon sign connects to our inner world, the rising sign is all about the image we cast and how we immediately react to external stimuli. It plays a crucial role in determining how we approach new situations and the way in which we project ourselves to the world around us. The ascendant goes beyond the surface, adding another layer to our core identity which is denoted by our sun sign, and our more private emotional nature represented by the moon sign. This sign is instrumental in shaping the first impressions we give off to others, influencing our personal style and defense mechanisms as we navigate through various environments. It represents the zodiac sign that was present on the eastern horizon at the exact moment of birth and is considered the lens through which the rest of the chart is focused. In astrology, the ascendant, often referred to as the rising sign, is a pivotal part of an individual’s birth chart. ![]() ![]() Instead, the Houses reflect the earth's own 24-hour rotation around its axis. However, do not get confused, as the Houses are not the same as the zodiac wheel, which is based on the sun's yearly rotational movement. The number 12 surfaces often in astrology - after all, it's a perfect numerical. The birth chart is divided into 12 equal sections, which comprise the Houses. To understand the meaning of the Houses in your own life, calculate your birth chart by simply plugging your time, date, and location of birth into astrology software, like what offers, and follow along below. Their geometric rhythm is a symbolic representation of an individual’s complete cosmology. Each one signifies a component of life, but none of these subsections exist within a silo: The Twelve Houses also operate as a single unit, a collective that comprises the entire 360-degree wheel. The Houses are truly what makes astrology so spectacular. If this all sounds rather extraordinary, well, it is. The birth chart is a snapshot of the sky at your moment of birth. ![]() ![]() “It is a large body of religious texts originating in ancient India.” Vedic-also known as Jyotish, which translates to light-astrology is rooted in these religious texts, called the Vedas. “The Vedic word is derived from Vedas sacred knowledge,” says Kamlesh Trivedi, a Vedic astrologer for horoscope and astrology app Nebula.
